1) Gifted Assessment
Gifted assessment is a process of evaluating students who have demonstrated advanced intellectual and academic abilities, creativity, leadership capabilities, or exceptional talents. The results of the assessment are typically used to develop an appropriate educational plan for the student, to apply to specific programs or schools, or to access enrichment opportunities in your child’s class.
1a) Cognitive Only ($1,100.00*) – this option can be used for families considering enrollment in Westmount Charter School; it includes:
Parent interview: 0.5 hour
Testing: 2 hours
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 2 hours
Results: 0.5 hours
1b) Cognitive and Academic Testing ($1,980.00*) - this option can be used for families considering enrollment in the Calgary Board of Education’s GATE program.
Parent interview: 1 hour
Testing: 4 hours
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 3 hours
Results: 1 hour
*If your child does not meet criteria as a gifted learner, you can choose not to move forward with a written report and pay a reduced fee of $600.00
1c) Academic Only ($1,100.00) - This option may be used if there is already a valid IQ test, and assessment of academic testing is required for entry into a specialized program.
Parent interview: 0.5 hour
Testing: 2 hours
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 1 hours
Results: 0.5 hour
2) Pyscho-Educational Assessments
A Psycho-Educational assessment is used to identify a student’s pattern of strengths and areas of need to provide unique and individualized recommendations for educational planning and intervention. Psychoeducational testing involves understanding how the student learns, their academic achievement, and their behavioural, social, or emotional challenges. These types of assessments can be used to identify students who may have learning disabilities, or experiencing challenges related to ADHD, mood, or behavioural disorder, or to provide information related to their learning profile.
Parent interview: 1 hour
Testing: 5-6 hours (including cognitive, academic, and select social-emotional-behavioral measures)
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 6 hours
Results: 1 hour
These assessments are billed out at an overall rate of $2640 coinciding with sessions booked.
3) Adult and Child ADHD Assessments
An ADHD assessment consists of gathering information from the client, their family and/or teachers, and comprehensive psychological testing. Treatment recommendations, including individualized supports, strategies and accommodations, are given based on the results of the assessment.
ADHD assessments do not include formal testing of academic abilities. If you are looking to explore additional learning challenges, we recommended a psychoeducational assessment.

Testing: 2-3 hours
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 4 hours
Results: 1 hour
These assessments are billed out at an overall rate of $1760 coinciding with sessions booked.
4) Child/ Adolescent Autism Assessments
Autism assessments is a complex process and involves evaluation of a number of domains of functioning including social-emotional-behavioural functioning, adaptive functioning, and cognitive functioning. These types of assessments include a combination of clinical interviews with parents, teachers or other caregivers, standardized testing, and direct evaluation of autism-specific behaviours.
Autism assessments do not include formal testing of academic abilities; however, this can be beneficial for school-aged children in understanding the child’s needs and planning for their academic future. Academic testing can be included for an additional 2hrs of one-on-one testing and 1hr of report writing. ($660).

Testing: 3 hours
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 4 hours
Clinical Interview with Parents: 2hrs
Results: 1 hour
These assessments are billed out at an overall rate of $2420 coinciding with sessions booked.
5) Adult Autism Assessments
Assessment for adult autism may be beneficial when an individual struggles with social interaction, has sensory sensitivities, strong patterns or interest and/or other restricted or repetitive patterns of behaviour. Results of these types of assessments can help an individual to gain self-awareness and develop supports and strategies to be as successful as possible.
Client interview: 1 hour
Testing: 4 hours
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 3 hours
Results: 1 hour
These assessments are billed out at an overall rate of $1980 coinciding with sessions booked.
6) Mental Health Assessments
Mental health assessments are used for children, adolescents, or adults to provide information related to social-emotional-behavioural functioning. These assessments are used to provide individualized strategies that can be used to guide therapeutic and treatment planning.
Mental health assessments do not include formal testing of cognitive or academic abilities. If you are looking to explore additional learning challenges, we recommend a psychoeducational assessment.

Testing: 2-3 hours
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 2 hours
Results: 1 hour
These assessments are billed out at an overall rate of $1320 coinciding with sessions booked.
7) Assessments for PDD/AISH Funding
This is used to apply for government funding. A report will be provided that can be used for the application process.
Client interview: 0.5 hours
Testing: 2-3 hours (including cognitive and adaptive functioning)
Scoring/background review/Report Writing: 2 hours
Results: 0.5 hour
These assessments are billed out at an overall rate of $1100 coinciding with sessions booked.
8) Disability Tax Credit Forms
Our seasoned psychologists are adept at assessing and accurately documenting the impact of disabilities on daily life. With our expertise, we ensure that every form is meticulously filled out, maximizing your chances of receiving the financial support you deserve.
***Sliding scales will be offered on a case-by-case basis. As well, many insurance companies provide coverage for psychological services.
