Emily Dulong... continued

IMG_3906.png

Emily brings extensive experience supporting children and families through challenges such as grief and loss, palliative and terminal illness, trauma, adolescence transitions, behavioural and emotional needs, and attachment-related concerns. Emily works primarily with children; however, she also meets with adults experiencing palliative diagnoses, death & dying.

Emily’s approach is experiential and play-based, fostering a safe and supportive environment where children can openly express, process, and explore their emotions and experiences. Through meaningful engagement and connection via play, Emily encourages self-expression and emotional growth in her clients.

Emily integrates diverse therapeutic methods, incorporating grief-specific theories, DBT, CBT, EFT, and Somatic Experiencing (SE). Her holistic approach thoughtfully considers mental health, family dynamics, and sociopolitical influences, ensuring tailored, individualized care.

In her spare time, Emily enjoys hiking, playing softball, meditating, and caring for her (many) plants.
